Cancellation & Refund Policy

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

For Prepaid Orders:
You can cancel order at any time if you want to do so. But we request you to do it immediately to avoid any additional charges & shipping charges being deducted from amount you are eligible to get refund. Please read below Refund Policy for applicable charges.

For Cash On Delivery (COD) orders:
Order cannot be cancelled once dispatched & will be delivered to your address. You then have to pay for the order in cash & initiate Return for the order. Not accepting or rejecting orders on delivery could be treated as a FRAUD to protect our business & customer may have to face any judicial consequences as per the law of the land.

Here are some Tips.

1. Make payment using your Shopkabap Wallet balance amount. Read more about wallet transactions here FAQs-Payments & Shopkabap Wallet.
2. Make payment using “Pay using UPI QR Code…” payment mode which is similar to offline payment.
3. Make Payment using “Direct Bank Transfer” mode of payment. (This mode of payment is currently not active.)

Above three mode of payments doesn’t attract any transaction charges on order cancellation & you can get 100% refund of your amount if you cancel order before it is dispatched or picked up by shipping partners or as per their policies. All such charges will be deducted at actual & we don’t charge any hidden costs.

REFUND POLICY FOR CANCELLED ORDERS

Orders cancelled before shipping will be given full refund less applicable transaction charges depending upon mode of payment. Please read FAQs-Payments & Shopkabap Wallet section for more details.

Once order is shipped (i.e. when product is dispatched), to & fro shipping charges & transaction charges if any (depending upon mode of payment) will be deducted & partial refund will be paid.

REFUND POLICY FOR RETURNS

Once we receive your return or the seller notifies us of receipt of return, as the case may be, a refund is issued to the original payment method (in case of pre-paid transactions) or to your bank account / as Wallet Account Balance (in case of Cash on Delivery orders).

Refunds will not be processed in cash. Refunds can also be processed via a paper cheque only in exceptional cases.

For shopkabap-fulfilled orders:

1. If the payment method, which you used to make the payment (such as credit/ debit card) at the time of purchase, is no longer valid, refund will be issued through a demand draft.
2. If we receive a payment failure notice from your bank, refund will be issued through a demand draft.

We will send you an e-mail asking you to call us and provide your name and address where you want the demand draft to be sent. After we receive these details, refund will be initiated.

For seller-fulfilled orders:

1. For damaged/ defective items, the seller will issue a refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.
2. In any case where a refund is required, the seller(s) need to authorize that refund. Shopkabap.com can assist in facilitating refunds for you only when the seller notifies us of the receipt of the item.

For Cash On Delivery (COD) orders:

For COD orders, refunds will be processed either to your bank account (via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)) or to shopkabap wallet.

Note: Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. The name on your Shopkabap account should match with the name of the bank account holder.

SHIPPING COST REFUNDS:

(Applicable only when the return is not eligible for Pickup & so, a Self-Return option is given.)

1. For Shopkabap-fulfilled orders, return shipping costs of upto Rs. 100 will be refunded.
2. If you incur return shipping charges over Rs.100 for returning large and heavy items, you can contact us for an additional refund.
3. For refund of any such additional shipping charges, proof of payment, like a courier receipt needs to be submitted.
4. If you’re returning a Seller-Fulfilled item, you can request the seller to reimburse the return shipping charges you incurred. In such cases, a seller might ask you to provide the courier receipt.

Note: We/the seller will not refund the shipping cost incurred in case of remorse returns.
